Stuff and ting!

I went to see the new Batman film yesterday. It doesn't live up to the hype in my opinion.
That's not to say I didn't like it, I'd gladly watch it again, it's just not as great as I'd have expected after all the attention it has gotten.
In saying that, I do feel that Heath Ledger MADE that film. The overall picture may have not been what it was hyped up to be, but his performance was. It was absolutely brilliant and I cannot fault it at all (this is coming from someone who is otherwise impartial with his films. Aside from 10 things I hate about you and Brokeback Mountain, I can take him or leave him).
I'd recomend you see it just for him alone if nothing else.

It's true, Heath definitely took the spotlight in the film, he MADE that film.

I love Christian Bale, but that 'Batman' voice was beginning to irritate me...

I'm glad someone else thinks that about the voice.
I went to see it with a bunch of boys who were all like "No, it was sooooo cool!"
Why did the costume make him sound like he had swallowed a bag of gravel? Stupid.

I saw the Batman movie and yep, Heath Ledger definitely made the movie - I loved the bit at the party where he was talking to Maggie G's character and smoothed back his hair ^_^

And the Batman voice...not cool. If Christian Bale suddenly growled like that in bed I'd start laughing at him and completely forget about the sex. It was THAT irritating.
